Karen is a South African-born Photographer based in Paarl, Western Cape with her husband and two young sons.
Her work as an actress and makeup artist in the film and fashion industry in Los Angeles, Sydney, London and Cape Town afforded her the privilege to watch and learn from photographers and directors who were masters of their craft. She held a camera in her hands and the bug bit hard!
Her technical skills were honed at Sydney’s Australian Centre for Photography, she has loved exploring the medium ever since.
Karen's work celebrates the human soul, this extraordinary adventure called Life - our place in it, the artistry it inspires and, above all, our connectedness through it all.
